The Somatic Relaxation for stress relief is a gentle, full body holistic massage-like session that combines Traditional Japanese Reiki with a soft approach to nervous system regulation, with particular attention to the vagus nerve - the key nerve involved in relaxation, recovery, and self-healing processes. It is combined with essential oils and foot massage.
This session is especially suitable for people experiencing chronic stress, burnout, emotional overload, fatigue, sleep disturbances, or difficulty relaxing.
How it works
In the session I use the Reiki Healing Art, which is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that creates a sense of safety in the body. When the body feels safe, the parasympathetic nervous system naturally activates, allowing the vagus nerve to support regulation, rest and restoration.
